Company History:
Dennen-Wright Appraisal Company was formed in 1998 by
Gloria A. Wright and Tyler Dennen. Originally located in Southern
California, DWA serviced the needs of the mortgage industry in one
of the country’s most progressive market places. DWA relocated
from Southern California in late 2005 and is now servicing Austin,
Texas and the surrounding areas. Due to the time and place of
original operations the principles have gained the experience
required to complete event the most challenging of reports. DWA
appraisers are committed to excellence with prompt service and a
friendly business relationship. This attention to detail has earned
DWA the reputation of professionalism.

1) Q: What is the purpose of a real estate appraisal?
A: In the context of a real estate transaction, the function of an
appraisal is to provide the financial institution with an unbiased
professional opinion of market value.
2) Q: Who has the rights to the completed appraisal report?
A: The organization or person whom ordered the report to be
performed is the INTENDED USER. This intended user has the sole
rights to the report and any data conveyed within the process of
completing the report.
3) Q: Is the borrower entitled to a copy of the report?
A: The borrower is entitled to a copy of the report, however it must be
provided from the INTENDED USER and not from the appraiser of
record.
4) Q: What are the types of things an appraiser is looking for when
inspecting a property?
A: Below are a few bullet points an appraiser is looking at when
inspecting a property.
The location of the property, within the neighborhood and its location
relevant to possible external factors such as power lines or water
towers.
The overall condition of the interior and exterior of the property.
The quality of construction and materials utilized in the interior and
exterior of the property.
Any amenities which might affect the value of the property such as a
pool or view.
